Central Catholic High School is a private college preparatory school educating young men from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds in the Roman Catholic Marianist tradition for success through the development of scholarship, leadership and moral character.
The Marianist intentions for education are the following:
to educate for formation in faith
to provide students with an integral, quality education
to educate students, faculty, parents and alumni in family spirit
to educate stakeholders toward a life of service, justice and peace
to educate all students for a life of adaptation and change
Central Catholic High School accomplishes these intentions through formal communal and interpersonal dialogues within the school’s larger community. The philosophy of Central Catholic High School is presented to personnel candidates and discussed during the hiring process. Central Catholic makes regular presentations to faculty and staff during in-service times and share it with parents during orientation sessions. Students are instructed in the mission and the characteristics of Marianist education. These statements also appear regularly in Central Catholic High School’s publications and on this website.
